Focus:

Sascha Ruhland studied political science and communication studies at the Friedrich-Schiller-University in Jena/Germany focussing on policy analysis, national and regional innovation systems, research and innovation policies, governance, innovative culture and political communication. From 2005 to 2008 he worked as a researcher at the Fraunhofer Institute for Systems and Innovation Research in Karlsruhe/Germany. Since 2008 Sascha Ruhland has been working as senior researcher at the Austrian Institute for SME Research. His main tasks include business development and project acquisition, project design and implementation for both national and international clients, project and team management. Sascha Ruhland has a long-standing experience in designing and implementing quantitative and qualitative methodologies in empirical social research.
