With its FTI focus on “Circular Economy and Production Technologies,” the Federal Ministry for Innovation, Mobility, and Infrastructure (BMIMI) is promoting the development of innovative solutions for the resource transition. The implementation of the measures will be supported in the period 2025-2029 by a formative, accompanying evaluation led by KMU Forschung Austria. As part of a continuous monitoring and learning process with the administration and funding agency, the accuracy and effectiveness of the measures will be determined in order to further develop them in line with the key challenges facing the target groups and the objectives of national and European strategies. The range of services provided by the accompanying evaluation includes portfolio, needs, potential, and impact analyses, which allow changes that have already occurred as well as emerging needs to be examined. KMU Forschung Austria is supported in the implementation of the evaluation by the VDI/VDE Institute for Innovation and Technology (iit) as a project partner.
