Since 2020, the #upperVISION2030 strategy has provided an overarching framework for business and research activities in Upper Austria. The interim evaluation for the period from 2020 to 2024 is intended to further develop the strategy and programme, and contribute to optimising monitoring.

The evaluation comprehensively examines the relevance of the strategic goals, the programme's implementation, and the effects achieved since 2020. It also reviews the appropriateness of the programme in relation to the central economic and research policy challenges remaining until 2030. The interim evaluation will provide recommendations, particularly with regard to effectiveness and instruments.
