Focus:

Eva Heckl holds Master’s degrees in political sciences and French (University of Vienna) and economics (Vienna University of Economics and Business). After occupations in the field of journalism and public relations she has been working at the Austrian Institute for SME research since 2000. Her tasks as senior researcher include project acquisition, design of research projects and evaluations, as well as project and team management. She consults and conducts projects for national and international clients. Eva Heckl regularly works with quantitative and qualitative methods. Her focus is on qualitative research and the triangulation of methods. Moreover she has a long-standing experience in designing and facilitating workshops and using participatory methods (Art of Hosting). Eva Heckl is the institute’s equal opportunity officer since 2013. As a sideline, she teaches as a lecturer at the Vienna University of Economics and Business.
