Focus:

Simon Pröll has been working at KMU Forschung Austria since February 2023. Prior to that, he worked as a research and teaching assistant at the Institute for Sustainable Economic Development at the University of Natural Resources and Applied Life Sciences, Vienna. He completed a diploma degree in economics at Johannes Kepler University Linz and a doctorate degree in social and economic sciences at the University of Natural Resources and Applied Life Sciences, Vienna. In his research, the economist deals with issues in the areas of productivity and competition analysis. His focus so far has been on the value chain of the food sector. He mainly uses quantitative methods, especially the analysis of panel data with the help of regression models.
